What a Wonderful World

Today is turkey day in Canada, and so to all my fellow Canadians, I wish you a lovely day, full of family, friends, turkey and all the trimmings.

While I believe we should be grateful for the things we have every day, we can stop for a moment and reflect on the blessings we have. Even for a moment.

I am grateful for my husband and my children. These three people make me happier than they’ll ever know. I am blessed to be D’s wife and the Little Mouse and Little Bird’s mommy. They are light in my life and the blue sky in my days.

I am grateful to my parents and my in-laws, my brother, sister-in laws, brother-in-laws and all my nephews. I love them all and I want them to know that they add joy and laughter to my life.

I am grateful to my friends and my followers.

I am grateful for my health and my job and I am grateful for the ability to wake up every morning and have a roof over my head and food in my belly.

I need to reflect more often. I think we all should. But if you pause, even for a moment today, I hope you are grateful for the wonderful life you have. And all of those in it!

Happy Thanksgiving!

What a Wonderful World

By: Louis Armstrong

I see trees of green…….. red roses too
I see them bloom….. for me and for you
And I think to myself…. what a wonderful world.

I see skies of blue….. clouds of white
Bright blessed days….dark sacred nights
And I think to myself …..what a wonderful world.

The colors of a rainbow…..so pretty ..in the sky
Are also on the faces…..of people ..going by
I see friends shaking hands…..saying.. how do you do
They’re really saying……i love you.

I hear babies cry…… I watch them grow
They’ll learn much more…..than I’ll never know
And I think to myself …..what a wonderful world

(instrumental break)

The colors of a rainbow…..so pretty ..in the sky
Are there on the faces…..of people ..going by
I see friends shaking hands…..saying.. how do you do
They’re really saying…spoken(I ….love….you).

I hear babies cry…… I watch them grow
spoken(you know their gonna learn
A whole lot more than I’ll never know)
And I think to myself …..what a wonderful world
Yes I think to myself …….what a wonderful world.
