Always and 4ever

Today’s song choice is for my husband. This was the song I sang over and over in my head when I met him, and it was the last (slow) song we danced to at our wedding.

No matter what, no matter where, no matter how, I want you to know that I’ll love you always and forever. Through the smooth sailing and the bumpy roads, my heart belongs to you. I hope you know that.

You are a wonderful and caring father that both the girls look up to. You are an amazing son, brother, uncle and friend. I know you feel the weight heavy on your shoulders sometimes, but I hope you know we are all there for you, always.

Happy birthday, babe! Forty looks good on you!

I hope you enjoy your day.

My Baby You

By: Marc Anthony

As I look into your eyes
I see all the reasons why
My life’s worth a thousand skies

You’re the simplest love I’ve known
And the purest one I’ll own
Know, you’ll never be alone

My baby
You are the reason I could fly
And because of you
I don’t have to wonder why

Baby, you
There’s no more just getting by
You’re the reason I feel so alive

Though these words I sing are true
They still fail to capture you
As mere words can only do

How do I explain that smile?
And how it turns my world around
Keeping my feet on the ground

My baby
You are the reason I could fly
And ’cause of you
I don’t have to wonder why

Baby, you
There’s no more just getting by
You’re the reason I feel so alive

I will soothe you if you fall
I’ll be right there if you call
You’re my greatest love of all

You are the reason I could fly
And ’cause of you
I don’t have to wonder why

My baby, you
There’s no more just getting by
‘Cause you’re the reason I feel so alive
