I have been in “chill-out” mode lately with my music choices, and with the weather being so cold, it’s been keeping me happy. As a self-admitted channel surfer, I sometimes just search for a song to get me moving in my car and the other day I found it.

Okay, it’s not that bad.

In fact, I don’t even know all the words yet, but it was the beat that made me stop.

Talk Dirty is a song by Jason Derulo featuring 2 Chainz.

Yes, with a zed.

Derulo has had some hits under his belt, and is dating American Idol winner Jordin Sparks, with rumours of marriage on the horizon.

Don’t ask me anything about 2 Chainz. If you look him up, most of the songs are “explicit” in nature. I don’t care too much for the vulgarity, as I need to make sure the music I listen to in the car – especially when my kids are around.

However, on the weekend, I was alone and the instrumental hook with the horns in Talk Dirty is so catchy, not only did I stop to listen, but made sure I looked it up afterwards so I could share it as my Music Monday post.
