The other day, my husband and I were in the car, and this song came on the radio. My instant reaction was; “What is this? Sounds like 1985?”

D later informed me that it was actually Bruno Mars’ new song; 24K Magic.

So I decided to give it another chance, and it is a pretty catchy tune. While it does have an 80s vibe, it’s also distinctly Mars’ sound. However I will say that I don’t think he needs so much auto-tune. I loved his Unorthodox Jukebox album, so I know he can sing.

He can dance too, and love the fun he always seems to have in his videos.

I’m sure this will make it onto my playlist.
